I need help with my wireless internet connection!

Hey guys, I'm on Time Warner Cable with a Netgear WGR614v6 router. I am currently on a wireless network, with a wireless-b adapter from linksys for 2.4ghz. The problem is this: Whenever I'm on my computer and I surf for a little while, my connection to the WAP would suddenly break and I can never get back online until I restart my computer. This happens usually within half an hour of surfing the web. This happens whether I'm on AIM, if I'm checking my e-mail via browser or just leaving the computer idle. I've tried leaving the computer on with nothing else open and the connection still breaks. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Have you checked for updated drivers for your wireless adapter?

I just tried updating my drivers and once I did that, I was unable to detect my wireless network. I've roll back'ed my driver and now it is working again. I don't think that's a possible route. Can anyone provide me with a different solution? =\

Have you tried contacting the wireless adapter's technical support? This still sounds very much like a driver issue.

Have you tried using wired ethernet instead?

Can't really use wired because I share it with 4 other computers (2 upstairs 3 downstairs and the modem is downstairs while I live upstairs). I haven't been able to contact tech support about it.
