Re: IE Searches Screwed Up By Adware

You need to differentiate between spyware and other junk. I don't think you
have spyware but you do have a toolbar installed that is trapping your
searches. Start by checking ADD/REMOVE programs for toolbars and remove
them. Unfortunately many programs have toolbars attached to them and you
HAVE to do a custom install and tell them not to install it.

All these 'experts' arguing about their spyware being is better are idiots.
No one package is any better than another. At any point in time one may pick
up something that another one won't but as soon as he copies the others file
it will find the same thing. If all these people would spend their time
trying to give competent answers instead of trying to impress everyone how
good they are 'not' everyone would be way ahead.....

Try going to Google Pak and download the free version of Spyware Doctor.
I'm using a paid version of Spysweeper and Spyware doctor found and
removed a trojan from my system Spysweeper didn't even detect. There
doesn't seem to be a time limit on this free version either.
