Post a link to the web host's site.

Then you need to host elsewhere. I have several web sites (along with
email accounts) hosted for $5.95US per month.

You have to log in to your control panel...

You could use Mozilla Thunderbird for your email - it does a
pretty good job of blocking spam and learns as it goes.

    i have incoming as:

    mail.bigpond.com

which is how i understand it.

so hope that is the right entry for thunderbird?

but the e/mail account that draws all the spam is the one that i have
along with my web page with the host i am using domaincentral aka
    bottle domains.

i don't need cover with bigpond as they filter spam already sufficient
    for me.

i want to cover the otehr account so at this stage not only do i not
know an outgoing smtp but am i even setting thunderbird up correctly?
