Re: IE Searches Screwed Up By Adware

Run my diagnostic tool http://www.pcbutts1.com/downloads/whatslivern.zip and
post or send me the log file it creates. I am currently working with others
with the same issue in one of my forums. I think I may have it identified
but I need to see your log. I will update Remove-it if successful.

Standard warning, if you've already compromised your computer by doing
something you should have not been doing, why in hecks name would you
visit a porno site to download some hackers protected Zip file and then
expose your self to more crap?

Fight exposing kids to porn, complain about sites like PCBUTTS 1.COM
that create filth and put it on the web for any kid to see: Just take a
look at some of the FILTH he's created and put on his website:
    http://forums.speedguide.net/archive.../t-223485.html all exposed
to children (the link I've include does not directly display his filth).
You can find the same information by googling for 'PCBUTTS1' and
    'exposed to kids'.

More standard warning: the above VBS script is the one he stole from
    Andrew Aronoff, known as "silentrunners.vbs".

Re: IE Searches Screwed Up By Adware

This just came into my feedback page.
    http://pcbutts1-therealtruth.blogspot.com/

Jeffjon has left a new comment on your post "Feedback":

I have Windows XP and was having a very difficult time trying to solve a
problem with my google search links taking me to YGOTOP.COM, YATOPMASH.COM
and KONOSEARCH.COM.as well as www.poiskmash.info and others. I emailed
PCbutts and he sent me the set up for his program. I ran it but it never
helped my problem. I emailed Mr PCbutts back and he promptly sent me a
script that logs all my running process on my PC and created a text file of
it. He asked me to send it to him, which I did. A short time later he sent
me a reg fix with instructions on how to execute it, which included turning
off system restore.. etc. Long Story Short, he fixed my problem. He spent
most of Sunday Afternoon emailing me and helping me solve this issue. I am
extremely impressed with him and Removeit software. There are very few
people out there that would take the time to help out a total stranger.
Especially one that did not pay for a software program. It is difficult to
find this kind of service for software that you do pay for.. So, my hats off
to you Mr PCbutt.. You are one of the true professionals out there and I
would NOT hesitate to purchase any product that you offered.
    Signed Very Happy..

Pcbutts, codecs by themselves usually aren't harmful. You meant malware
posing as a codec download, right?

Yes, by adding legitimate websites to it you mean; Thereby blocking the
user from accessing them. Mine would be one of those sites you block and
don't bother to tell the user you did so.

It should be noted, the pcbutts website is listed in peerguardian as an
    antispyware stealer.

Stop stealing other peoples things and relabeling it as your own. You

Sadly, it's a bogus sampling taken from your closed site. IE: you validate
all posts before they are allowed to show up. Any posts indicating a
problem with the stuff you've stolen and relabeled as your own obviously do
not get shown to the public.

Crybaby, don't even think about asking me how to remove ygotop.com,
yatopmash.com, and konosearch.com. The file names, the file locations, or
the registry locations of this new variant, YOU WON'T GET IT! I've included
it in Remove-it ver 15.5 but it's not in the created batch file so unless
you de-compile the setup you won't find it. Even if you do you still won't
find it because it's coded. You might as well wait a week or two for the
rest of the anti-spyware products to catch up and start detecting it.
