Been reading up on it, looks interesting; noticed the thing about it being tailored towards power hungry OpenGL, CAD/CNC workstation class graphics cards.

Usually if it's a "universal" agp pro, it's backwards compatible with 1/2/4/8x non pro AGP cards.. But there are some exceptions with certain agp cards not being compatible with the voltage key's of the non Universal AGP pro sockets.
