I installed the new ram in my computer and when I turn it on it goes to a screen where it labels all the hardware and just hangs there. I'm sure I bought the correct ram and it fits all the way in.
It's a custom computer so there isn't a model number to it, can someone help?

More information...computer specs for one thing. Where did you get the RAM? Did you try putting back in the old and removing the new? If it works then chances are you got the wrong kind. How much did you put in? How much were you replacing? Two sticks, one stick...how many?
