    Thanksgiving Divorce

The day before Thanksgiving a son in New York received a call from his father in Phoenix.
His father said, "I hate to call and spoil the day son, but your mother and I are getting a divorce. After 45 years I can't take it anymore. 45 years of nagging is just too much and I'm done."
The son tried to plead with his father, but his father was adamant and told him that it's done. The father also told him, "Call your sister in Chicago and tell her too." After which point the father hung up.
The son, distraught and with nothing else to do, called his sister up in Chicago and told her what happened.
His sister said, "Oh no they are not!! I am going to take care of this RIGHT now!" She proceeded to hang up with her brother and call her parents.
Her father answered the phone. She let loose on him, "YOU ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING!!! You will WAIT until your son and I get there in the morning!!! YOU don't do ANYTHING!!" at which point she hung up on him.
The father set down the phone, took his wife's hands, and said, "Sweetie, they'll be here tomorrow morning for Thanksgiving, and they are paying their own way."

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
