Look out for a new generation of applications for Windows Vista that have never been seen before, from well-known companies like the New York Times and The North Face to smaller firms like Electric Rain.


Nvidia launched on November 8 its first DirectX 10 graphics card for Vista, which Jim Allchin, the co-president of Microsoft's platforms and services division, says he has been playing with in Microsoft's Lab.
