I think any anti-spyware/malware detector type program should have an
option to remove toolbars; because sometimes even if you uncheck the option
to install them when they come with a program they get installed anyway.
After all anyone using a anti-spyware/malware type program most likely
doesn't know how to remove a toolbar theirself. Personally I haven't used a
AV or anti-spyware/malware type program in years; because I have found that
with OE/O set to view all email in text only format nothing gets in, well at
least nothing as of yet or that I know of<s> Same thing with IE7 with
activex/scripting/and others turned off it is reasonably safe. Besides when
ever I want to cruze questionable sites or go on IRC I boot up a live CD of
ubuntu and cruze those type sites safely, lol
