    Nope....just buy a mac. Native OSX plus will run any flavor of windows/*nix

    I've heard it's a LOT of work to get OSX on a PC...

    not to mirror Gizmo's post, but YES it's alot of work; right now it's easier to just get a MAC; I like the aluminum tower, and the macbook core2;

    Alot of big MFG's are soliciting Apple to license the rights to use osx on PC platform because majority of their customers are asking for it, because it has better multiprocessor support and less of the internet problems that MS Windows family come with built in.... And yes, it does work on PC/clone natively, IE no VMWARE if you select the components based on the HCL for OSX there are some problems with internetworking on the PC with OSX..

    Installing OS X on anything but a Mac is illegal, unethical, etc, etc. Read the software license agreement. It probably shouldn't be discussed in this forum, but I'm not a mod so do whatcha want.

    mrweasel is right.

    Thanks for the heads up; looking forward to it being legal if I don't get a mac first.
