Okay my graphics card burnt out the other day taking my motherboard with it. Took the computer to a computer shop and they replaced the dead parts and set it all up. Apparently though my main hard drive was empty when they looked at it. It had data on it before the crash.
Got the computer back today my second hard drive still has everything on it, including load of previously installed programs etc. I just wondered if there was anyway to get these working again without individually reinstalling everything?
Also, I was trying to install sygate personal firewall but I am getting an error coming up with windows installer. the error is 2755 and thats all it gives. It gives the same error trying to install windows live messenger. I ran a quick Google check and most mentions were rectified simply by updating, I tried that but it was already its most recent version, uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing.
I ran eusing free registry checker which came up with over 100 errors mostly missing files. It ran a repair and now no errors on that.
My HJT log showed up some CWS items on the parse list but I havent removed them as it said to consult first. The HJT log is attatched, anything major on it?
Cheers
Tom
