my old monitor is some pos CRT. my current monitor works just fine wit VGA, but as soon as the dvi is plugged in it craps on itself. I'm gonna try and use my roomates DVI cable to see if thats the problem. if it still doesnt work, then i'll assume its probably my monitor.
