Spyware Doctor Question

Been using Spy Sweeper for about 3 yrs, been totally happy with it.

Subscription runs out in a couple of days so just for the hell of it I
downloaded a trial version of Spyware Doctor and I have 2 questions.

1) Why do I get pop-ups saying that I will have to restart my system
in order to complete update installation? That would be a royal PITA!

2) After a scan I got "Spyware Known Bad Sites", in particular
http://www.cc-dt.com/ so I quarantined whatever that is supposed to be
and immediately ran another scan and got the same exact thing again.
Quarantined it, ran another scan, and got it again. What is the deal?
According to Mcafee Site Advisor it isn't a bad site and Spy Sweeper
registers nothing. I've never even been to that site.

Doubleclick? That's why... Apparently, SpySweeper isn't as good as you
thought. Now as to why Spy Doctor is alarming, you must have that link
somewhere, maybe in a browser cache. Or a cookie.

SS constantly beats Spyware Doctor in most spyware reviews, so it's
just fine.

I clean my cache and cookies on a regular bases, so that isn't the
problem. Seems like a false positive to me.

None of the anti- programs all catch everything. But I can't speak to
the reviews.

Somehow, somewhere Spyware Doctor found that URL on your computer.
Perhaps on a cached web page you didn't clean prior to that scan.

hxxp://www.cc-dt.com/ is a Doubleclick.net site. Ad-serving, tracking
cookies, annoying company. Your site advisor might not find anything
malicious at that URL, but Spy Doctor may have it listed because it is a
tracking/ad-serving company. That's my guess.
