    copying dvd

hi! i dont know a convenient place to ask this i just think this might
be the best section. 4give me if i am wrong.
i tried copying a dvd movie to my computer but it wouldnt copy. so i
opened the movie files and tried to copy file after file but on
getting to the main file it copied a while and then stopped. it said
somthing like" this file could not be copied due to cyclic
redundancy". a second trial said:" vts_01_0:file storage error
    (-2147351799).
    pls what can i do?

It's most likely copy protected. You'll need software specifically
designed for this task. As I don't believe this is ethically wrong to do,
I'm going to give you the links:

    http://bearbottoms1.com

Scroll down to the dvd/cd pages and download the following software
    programs:

    Ripit4me
    DVD Shrink
    DVD Decrypter

Set them up and follow the instructions provided when you run ripit4me.
Pending no serious issues, the movie will copy onto your hard disk; and
it will be free of any regionalization settings macrovision and anything
else the company may have placed on it to prevent copying.
