OK, the free version is worthless (IMO), it scans for rootkits only.

Wrong... Evidently, you don't how HIPS apps work

    Wrong about what?

I'm talking about a manual scan.

"On-demand scanning of your entire PC for known threats"
    http://www.threatfire.com/download/

*Wrong* that "the free version is worthless". You don't *need*
"On-demand scanning of your entire PC for known threats" with
Threatfire. Your presently installed *capable* AV can do that... You
*do* have one don't you? You still don't understand what HIPS is, do
    you?

    Mr use a hammer,
If you think do little of this prog, why did you put us all onto it in the
    first place?
I have not looked at it, but am at a loss with this pointless argument..

Like I said, I found it in the freeware group and thought that maybe
someone here could use it. After looking over it more closely, I
noticed that the free version probably isn't something that most
people are interested in. That is why 30 minutes later I made a post
    saying as much.

That question should be directed to Jen.

I guess Jen must work for Threatfire the way she is *rudely* defending
    the program.
