Award Winning Antispyware That Works Wonders.

    Hi.

I recently had many problems with spyware and i spent over $200 buying
antispyware programmes that promised the earth and didn't deliver.
Then when i thought nothing would work i came accross a website,
    http://www.antispywaresolutions.com & i downloaded the ParetoLogic
Anti-Spyware and i have never had any problems with spyware since, it
    removed everything the others didn't.

I hope this helps anyone else who has problems with spyware.

    Thanks.

Nice try, pal but you won't get my money and watch out for those false
    positives.

And it's so "Award Winning" that McAfee Site Advisor doesn't even
    recognize their website. lol

Is this the program that does a 'free' scan from the web of your
computer and 'finds' a problem that can only be fixed by buying the
program? Finds a problem that SpyBot can't? Well, well.

There are many of those out there, only problem is, in most cases you
    have to dowload the "scanner".

I made that mistake a couple of yrs ago and it was a real pain in the
ass to get rid of ALL traces of the program.

ParetoLogic is the purveyor of XoftSpy. It was a pretty good program once
but was nearly ruined by scare tactics used by their "distributors." They
tried to clean up their act for a while but it's anybody's guess what
    they're up to now.

I actually owned a copy of XoftSpy once and it did a damned good job, but
all the other crap they were involved with made me give it up when the
updates were going to cost money.

Of course I don't know what they're selling or doing now, but I'm an old guy
and this looked like a good place to ramble a little.

I had time on my hands do I download this offering and let it do it's thing.
It was fast and found an old fragment of something and eleven cookies for
Internet Explorer, which I don't use anymore.

Anyway, I didn't see any scare tactics or "Buy-It-Now" histrionics. The
download is scan only and it sends you to their web page to order if you
    click on the "Remove" button.

No scare tactics that I saw, just "Yet Another Download and Try" antispyware
    program.
