    setup32.exe

Every time I boot my computer I get a message telling me to insert the
CD with Setup32.exe on it. After I click on the tab telling the machine
to ignore this message I get a message telling me that without this exe,
    programs may not run correctly.

There is no reference to what program this file is associated with. What
is the problem? Is this something left over from something I removed?
Should I be concerned? How can I remove this warning?

    Thanks,

Get CCLEANER and have it scan and clean the PC of junk files. Run the
startup list tool in CCLEANER and I expect you may see setup32.exe being
run from the registry. Delete it.

    Juarez,

I tried Ccleaner. Wonderful program. It cleared out 12GB (yes
gigabytes)of crap. Unfortunately it did not get rid of the message.
Thanks for the lead though. Any other ideas?

This is a "same name threat" that can apparently be both a valid
software executable or any of various malwares identified at
CounterSpy search for instance (4 results). If you would like to move
on - it is recommended you install update and run full scans with paid
antivirus and antispyware. This will safely remove it as any threat.
However, if you would like to know exactly what threat it is (if so)
then it is recommended to see the results from searches at the
bookmark below which has links to threats processes or valid ones. You
can manually look in Windows Explorer (all files on your pc) and
Windows Registry to see if any of the threat files or keys are
    present.
HINT: The threat mentioned has an "executable" (.exe) file extension
indicating that part of the package downloaded that would be the
simple clicking of "Install" for valid software and would be found in
the valid software at C:\ProgramFiles\your-software-by- name.... How
to get there to see? HOW TO: SEE: http://www.bluecollarpc.net/registry.html

    Spyware Removal Center
    http://www.bluecollarpc.net/pcsafety.html
..... a central place to detect, discover, and remove any threats
present on your computer. There are malware search engines and file
process search engines to identify valid files and malware files,
aiding as well in manual removals and to rule out 'false positives' in
scan results. Free scans links, and many information links. Links
included to free removal utilities and free home versions of known
trusted antispyware programs for immediate removal of threats, though
you will want to make purchase to prevent infections. "Free stuff"
does not offer real time protection.
