    One possible explanation is that changes/updates in the Avast detection
    signatures made it possible to detect the problem. Another possibility is
    it's a false positive. You may want to scan just that file with another AV
    program to see if the problem is confirmed.

    That's my guess. I never allow AV software to delete a file because it says
    it is a virus or Trojan. I first go check out the file on the web to find
    out if it is a false positive or not. You can really screw up your PC if you
    let AV software move or delete a file without checking it out first. Just a
    few days ago AVG tagged googleupdate.exe file as a Trojan on my PC. Went and
    checked it out and sure enough it was a false positive. Updated AVG to
    latest virus database and it no longer detected it as a Trojan.
