Well, there have been times when I was forced to use Google Groups.
Sometimes it is not appropriate to wait until I get home to ask my
question (my answers can always wait). While I can easily contrive the
means to circumvent the network restrictions at a company to get at an
NNTP server, I respect their policies and will comply (unless I get
their permission to use my methods of circumvention). That means I'm
stuck with the webnews-for-dummies interface at that company if the need
is immediate - but, boy, does that method suck.

In that case, because you were acting in good faith, you are hereby
absolved of being a googlegroups poaster.

You should acquire and learn to use a real newsreader.

If you must know - I don't like what you mean. I use the independent
browser called RSS Reader <http://www.rssreader.com/> that runs on
the .Net Framework Version 1 or 2 and now 3 and is classified as RSS
2.0. You should try that instead of mickey mouse crap like Plucker
which is actually really nice though like these other crap browser
plug-ins
that are pretending to be RSS/XML Readers and are only plug ins. The
RSS Reader is a software program browser RSS Feeds reader. It opens as
a full featured browser just like you were using Firefox or IE. It is
a program not a plug in browser "clip service" like the others
mentioned. Do I know about CLIENT READERS --- YES I DO AND YOU CAN
SHUT THE UKNOW F-UP ABOUT IT. So anyway I am normal again because you
peeved me off by implying I know JACK SQUAT about News Reader Clients.
In fact I use a Windows CE 3.0 Mobile RSS Reader and also a Windows CE
3.0 Mobile Web Clipper with text and graphics web clipping
capabilities and mobile bookmark creator with IE Plug-Ins for all
services as well as Clip Feeds synchronization through the Microsft
Active Sync client. Oh...you might say .... and yeak f-face I do know
about Reader Clients - How to use them and what they do and where.
Perhaps you are unfamiliar with "Web-Clipping" which is the text
conversion in WAP Protocals for Windows Mobile OS as one of the
original mobile and wireless services for Readers and feeds created.
Or perhaps it is you are just the type J-Off that uses your "Wireless
Web 2.0 Enabled" WAP Browser Enabled Cell Phones for SMS Text Messages
because YOU are Such a J-Off that you did not know you had an actuial
wireless web browser free in your cell phone to access the Wireless
Web - the wireless internet - instead of your little UNINTERESTING
COMMENTS like ---->
""> You should acquire and learn to use a real newsreader."" ...
OR really reall really J-Off Comments like ...---------> ""after much
thought,came up with this jewel:""
Actually the best news reader is the free Microsoft Outlook Express
Client, period. It is valued at at least $350.00 and has had what - 2
Upgrades in 6 years ? That is meant as speaking to its durability and
value and quality. In other words it does not need constant Upgrade
attention because it is a UNIX CERTIFIED NEWS READER CLIENT J_Off.
..... I used to use the Outlook Express News Reader but everything is
very annoyingly micro midget small. The Google Groups Service has done
what they have done in combining things for posting. Google Groups
actually stinks like a bad beta program. It does not relate well on
Mozilla products like it is supposed to and certainly does not
interact well with Internet Explorer. It is just that Usenet Groups
and News Rooms are very, very quaint and old and out-of-hat archaic
dinosaurs actually with today's standards passing RSS traditional
readers already and then off to Web 2.0 (no thanks).

You are posting through Google Groups despite all the initials you want
to proliferate in your reply. You are a Verizon customer so use their
news.verizon.net and use a real NNTP (network news protocol protocol)
client: Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Forte Agent, Xnews, SuperGravity,
40tude Dialog, or whatever floats your boat. Google Groups sucks since
they are a Usenet archiving service with a really crappy
webnews-for-dummies interface. "I use the independent
browser called RSS Reader". Yeah, we know you're using a browser
because you are posting through Google Groups.
The USENET Improvement Project

(It's not my site.)
Even if you know how to use well Google Groups, like Reply to Author
rather than just Reply (to group) to thread the messages, which you seem
to handle okay, realize that you are a Google Grouper and many
Usenetters are bigotted against them. Many users filter out Google
Groupers (so your audience will be reduced). Those that regularly
inhabit Usenet do not use Google Groups.

____________/.
And so in the final analysis, I did what I should have and checked
posts by Vanguard which reveal along the lines of just an intermediate
user with same knowledge which my comments seem not to be able to be
ascribed to.
BOTTOM LINE..... Vanguard simply clearly played his rush to judgement
to wit ... I wrote clearly about my public polls versus professional
expert polls:
""QUOTE"" There are more here - actual professional reviews - *not*
user reviews
sometimes called "newbie press hype"....
Software Reviews
http://bluecollarpc.net/phpbb2/viewforum.php?f=4 ""UNQUOTE"" ....so
that there was simply no excuse for Vanguard to say what he did about
BlueCollarPC.Net Polls.... I thank you. If you people in this string
are COMPLETE FOOLS AS WELL..... then I don;t suppose you get it
either ??? It is very simple... Let me try and spell this out for you
OR visitors (you need not reply, I left).... This statement is the
entire crux of the biscuit of the original message, "There are more
here - actual professional reviews - *not* user reviews
sometimes called "newbie press hype".... so that it is quite clear my
original post was directing the person to a well known commercial
website "TopTenReview" that the average consumer can easily see
professional results posted that are easily verifiable and the answer
the person wanted was simply "What are the top antispyware programs" -
and my post answered that NOT from any personal opinion Vanguard or
any of you may have given which Vanguard went out of his way to say
are NOT acceptable and as well CLEARLY what I DID NOT SAY OR DO IN MY
POST. So this intermediate Vanguard fellow has exxonnerated me by
opening his mouth to charge me QUITE clearly and I hope all concerned
get this CLEAR message but seems idiots here jumped with another
":rush to judgement' CLEARLY by EVEN responding to this post which is
unclear why you did.
SORRY ABOUT SHOUTING but imbeciles and IdiOtS make this EXTREMEMLY
hard to converse in. Please stop it and thank you. I left - say what
you want behind my back and I will return and say it proves you were a
troll - so why bother ?
LAST CHANCE.... what did you not get this time ? I will answer !
