My two cents: Every time I download a new HOSTS the video news clips
on Fox NewsChannel.com refuse to play. I have to go back and install
my old HOSTS (292 kb) from way back before the videos will run.

I had X (remarked) out the "view.atdmt.com" line in the old file to
get the videos to work. But just remarking out that line in the new
HOSTS file does not permit the videos to play. They must have
redirected another link in the string of pages that Fox News accesses
to play the videos, and I don't have the patience to go thru the file
testing one line at a time to see which needed file has been
redirected this time. Fox forces you to watch an ad between each clip
and if the ads are blocked so is the video clip. I guess someone
hates ads so much that they don't mind missing a big part of the news
    just to avoid the ads.

I appreciate the effort to make the internet a safer place, but this
HOSTS file throws out the baby along with the bath water unless mature
judgement is used in choosing what to let thru and what to block.

    FWIW

I think you'd do better to air your thoughts with the ones that create the
file instead of just complaining about it here.
