I would like to point out that if Far Canal had read my post properly then
you would have seen it was not me, but my wife that did it, and normally no
    I would not.

AVG scanned the file and said it was ok, so she opened what she thought was
something her friend had sent her. It was not her fault as Tx2 said, it can
be quite easily done when you are caught off guard.

Also Beauregard T Shagnasty, I am sorry for posting a question on here as
well as another newsgroup. I did not cross post so I have not broken the law
by asking on here as well as somewhere else. I did not know it was a crime
to ask on more than one newsgroup and I will write out 50 times

I will never ask on more than one relevant newsgroup for a solution to a
problem I have, considering I was not sure what to do and thought it would
be OK to ask in relevant newsgroups if anyone could help me.

I think that should do it.

So considering you have not helped me in any way, if it was that much of a
problem to you then why bother posting a reply to my question with nothing
    more than a sarcastic response.

The reason I asked on different newsgroups is because I was not sure which
one to ask in, so I asked in both.

Then you should crosspost, not multipost...
    Here's why:

If you *had* cross-posted to the two groups, that would have been fine.
It's the *multi* posting that is wrong. With multi-posting, you get two
separate sets of people giving you answers, and doing double work.

Yes he would have saved all this bs from you moron self proclaimed news
police with no idea of how to help someone other than chastise him for not
doing it your way. Grow up and try to post something productive.

I'll bet you top-posted to your first grade teacher, too, right? Called
her a moron when she tried to teach you something. Last week.

You probably didn't notice that Dino received a satisfactory answer in
a.c.a-v. Where was the need to answer twice, which is the problem with
    multi-posting.

And I do not think my original statement was non-productive and a
    chastise:

"Were not the answers you received in alt.comp.anti-virus sufficient?
Please return to that thread. Thanks."

...especially since a full day had elapsed between his multi-posts.

Come on man, lighten up. You know that some people are just too important
and in too much of a hurry to waste their time reading the rules.
