Every time I start my computer I get an error message saying that "5eplorer.exe"
has encountered errors and will be shut down."

When I ran a search for "5eplorer", I found a handful of articles describing it
as a virus or spyware file that is so well hidden that most virus scanning
programs can't detect it and it cannot be found in Windows Explorer.

Whatever it is, it must be relatively rare, judging by the small number of
results I got when running a search. The site "PC Hell" doesn't even mention it.

If "5eplorer" is a virus or spyware file (and I'm not certain that it is), how
the hell do I get rid of it? I've already tried the most up-to-date versions of
"Spybot Search and Destroy" and "AVG AntiVirus".

I'm on a very limited budget right now, so freeware or very low-cost methods
strongly preferred!
