I'm probably at HALF the median income....for the last 5.5 months I've brought in just under $5,900 net.

michigan is about $6000 higher than Oklahoma. My area is about $10,000 below the state average.

Yeah, but still....I go by the national average on a forum like this...no sense in singling people out.

ok, im about 6K over national average.

About 10K low for my field and experience.

I have been at the same place for almost 6 years. Its time I start looking for something else to get a good increase in pay.

Yeah that it is...tell them a raise or you're gone...just make sure you have something else first...

no, I got a 15% raise a few months ago, but that just got me up to about normal...
