    ===================FOLLOW UP .....

Guy I have heard here nothing by personal attacks and crap about how
the weather is in air conditioned repair shops - and not YET one
credible reply to your questions. I have more or less re-posted your
question in such a way that would be all the average questions
concerning an exact response to direct questions about the procedure
    of what you asked.

Again you will notice not one person has answered you with a direct
response yet but have rather called me every name under the sun.

You will re-notice some of the re-phrasing of your question I posted
    to everyone here...Briefly:

    1) How does reformatting a disc remove infestation
    2) Was the infestation claimed on the Windows Files ? Private
shareware software files ? Private Files ? ]
    3) If the infected Windows is backed up on a recovery disc at this
point from my machine and is reinstalled - doesn't that just reinstall
    the infection ?
    4) If some or all of my software and personal files were infected -
and if they were saved to a back up disc at this point (reformating)
and then after reformatting you reinstall them - won't that just
    reinfect my computer?

Those are just in the nutshell a few questions you can re-ask
somewhere else since there does not seem to anyone intelligent enough
or honest enough to answer you here yet. My personal opinion as the
webmaster of BlueCollarPC.Net and .Org is that there is no such thing
as reformatting a disc or wiping a disc to remove infestation used as
    a practical or viable solution.

There is a mulit-billion dollar industry of security software
available as antivirus and antispyware software programs. However
there is not a multi-billion dollar industry or even a multi million
dollar industry for anything to do with reformatting a disc for
    infestation removal.

So you can use a common sense approach to this for an answer. Number
one all the money is on security software as the solution. Number two
the most used solution by consumerism is security software and not
reformatting. Number three, because of those statistics - it stands to
reason if you did not have the worst infection that are rootkits as
presented to you by the Repair Shop - then you were most likely ripped
off, as they took advantage of you not knowing.

Actually wiping the discs and reinstalling an uninfected new licensed
copy of the Windows Operating System is the only solution to these
severe instances of severe rootkits that are able to hide from
security software successfully beyond uninstallation by them. In this
case as Microsoft and Bill Gates tell you - you are screwed. Get a new
Windows OS asnd don't get infected again in the dark side of the
    internet. Hard lesson.

I do hope this did answer your question successfully and do please
reply rather than be rude in silence so we know you are still here
reading this. Otherwise this IS MY last reply in this string. I
believe I successfully waded through the saltless crackers for you.
    You'Re WelCome.
