Sitting in the dark

Only lights on in the house are teh tv and the laptop monitor and the kids are still trying to get candy from me...

What ever happened to the idea that the porch light indicated which houses to try and which to avoid....

no, Im confessing people dont get the hint that no lights on means I dont want people stopping by.

my wife took the kids around the neighborhood then over to a friend of her's neighborhood. I didn't get home till later and I didn't really feel like hopping up every few minutes to dish out candy.

Just kidding you...kids here in Indiana don't get the hint that if lights are out don't knock either...my daughter lives across the street and is not home...her house is dark but every kid who comes here then heads right across the street and knocks! And they aren't alone either, their parents are with them!

yeah, that's kinda what I thought too...but our apartments are setup wierd...in order to get to ANY apartment you have to take stairs...the ground floor is 1 flight down....2nd floor is 1 flight up and the 3rd floor is 3 flights up...and I think the office had a party there also...
