Please post the EXACT "warning".

Chances are it is the FireWall providing a warning on an unknown process trying to access
the Internet. The updater is safe as it uses the GNU WGet utility to download updates to
BugHunter.

The warning is most likely a window asking permission and/or informating
you that WGET.EXE is trying to access the internet. It's a harmless
process.

On the one hand I've so far accepted Bughunter as a valuable addition
to the malware fight. On the other hand, no point in running a good
virus killer like NOD32 if I just ignore warnings. Any observations?

This is NOT malware. It is classified as a "Potentially Unwanted Program"
In this case PROCESS.EXE is a Process Application. It is not that the utility is malicious
in itself, it can be used maliciously. BugHunter is NOT using it maliciosly.

In the contect of NugHunter, PROCESS.EXE is safe to use.

Hi John,

Process.exe is a tool which could be used for malicious purposes if one
was so inclined to do so. As with format.com. However, in the method in
which I'm using it, it's not malicious. It is designed to assist
BugHunter in dealing with malware which loads along with the winlogon
process. For a more thorough explanation, just view the safebug.bat file
included in the archive. BugHunter leaves the decision to make use of the
program upto you, by providing a seperate easy to read batch file which
will disable processes until your machine is restarted.

His credibility is not an issue here. Yours was at one point, but I've
established well that you do not have a clue about the BugHunter program.
You don't have any credibility left for me to attack, i've pummeled you
