What would a home user need a T1 line for anyhow?

Online stalking really requires that much bandwidth?

    I don't know why you can't get a T1...I would call BS on them on that...but that's REALLY expensive for a T1...our T1's are only like $400/month.

What kind of connection do you have? DSL? Cable TV? Satellite? Ethernet? FIOS? T-Span?

5mbps down, 512k up. DSL. I wish I could get a better upload. When I first decided I wanted to do offsite backups, it took about a month to upload everything. Had to stop the upload whenever I wanted to use my internet, then resume it before bed.
