    SpywareBlaster

I understand that the author of this utility is deceased.
I have still been installing it on my clients' computers and it still gets
what updates there are. Will there be no more updates? Should I keep
installing it? Are there other similar utilitites?

Where did you hear that the author of SpywareBlaster is dead?

Dak's custom blocking list for SpywareBlaster will no longer be updated:

OK, well I guess I misinterprepted. I thought that SpywareBlaster WAS based
on a blocking list, and that if the guy that updated the list is gone...

I guess I just don't understand all I know about SpywareBlaster.

AIUI, it is, but Dak did a *custom* blocking list. Not quite the same
    thing.

Don't worry about it. You can continue to to install SpywareBlaster on
your client's computers and there will be more updates!
