    Spyware and Criminal Prosecution

Having been using Computers 20 years now, I Check my system daily for
    Viruses and spyware.
Using 3 programs which are AVG, Spybot, and ad aware. I update and
check on a daily basis only to keep finding more updates and having
these programs find malicious programs almost daily.
Maybe if People would start making laws, putting people in jail for
delibrately putting junk onto systems this nonsense would stop.. it's
a constant battle ... and it seems that its getting worse.

Stop surfing pron sites and you won't get daily infections. You sure
they are not just reporting tracking cookies? Those are not spyware
infections, tracking cookies are harmless. Apart from what you are already
using I would suggest you do some pre-emptive protection. Learn to use a
hosts file, get Spywareblaster and add Superantipsyware to your arsenal, on
top of all that run Firefox with the no-script plugin, just allow
javascript to run on websites you trust. I do all that and never get any
    infections.

There are laws but they are hard to enforce when people are infecting us
from offshore countries. They did put someone away in the US recetly for
    spreading spyware though.

The trade factor - or pure profit - is the reason the internet was
removed from FCC control and given to the FTC. Apparently a completely
secure internet is not worth anything. Obscure fun comment but some
    truth.
