The address that was posted came from you, though.

I didn't give my address to any of your friends. Just you. Even
accepting for the sake of argument that you didn't make the post (which
I do not), you still had control over the information that was posted.

Credit your audience with a little intelligence, Dustin.

You're not honest about that fact that you lack character and that you
will do what you believe to be most beneficial to yourself at all times,
regardless of how your actions impact others.

I think you misunderstood what I meant by clean. If you follow those
instructions and reload a virgin copy of windows, it will indeed be a
clean installation, until you access the data/software from the
    previous installation.

    > The only 100% certain way to clean a machine is, as I've stated several

    > environment, with clean media.

If you wish to preserve the data; wiping the hard drive isn't
necessary. If you have the luxury of a clean environment, you probably
have production restore cds...and the machines aren't that personlized
anyway. In the real world, the machines are personalized, and I'm not
about to hose somebodies mp3 collection due to a virus.

You can load the operating system completely clean on a hard drive
    with pre existing data.

LOL @ flame. Sticks and Stones.. and all that... LOL.

After 2 decades, I'm an above avg PC user, who is still managing to learn

    Hi Rhonda

I never denied that, but you certainly wouldn't accept the fact that I
didn't make the post you accused me of.

    > accepting for the sake of argument that you didn't make the post (which

You sent it to me, yes. I found it amusing, and shared some of the
emails with some individuals who were at my house at the time. The
fact one of them decided to make use of the information in a less than
positive manner is shameful, but again, wasn't actually caused by me,
    not directly.

    > Credit your audience with a little intelligence, Dustin.

I credit them with far more than yourself. C.J is a prime example. He
assumed I'm a troll and that the dustbin nick name would be amusing.
Well, I am amused.. at the fact he says he's been working with
computers for 2 decades, but couldn't save a system... NOW THAT IS
    entertainment!

Heh. How can you and I resolve our differences then Rhonda? You
followup to my posts as often as you can, you even start threads about
me. One might consider you to be stalking.. In all seriousness,
what will it take for you and I to part ways without continuing to
    flame each other?

Hmm. You make no sense. How can someone with no character willingly
write release and support a completely free program? I've spent 2
years and counting, of my time, when I could be doing things to
satisfy me... like you suggest I do, but instead, that time has been
spent writing code and analyzing code... 2 years Rhonda.

Sort of, the only time you repair it is to get at the data long enough to
backup the data files, then wipe it after.

When it comes to a cleaning, I always wipe and reinstall, but I've been
known to clean one enough to make a backup of their data.

Whoa.... Whoa.. back up a second. I think you're reading way to much into
    our little exchange here.

    1. In another post, you stated to someone else, that I assumed you to be a
troll and thought your dustbin nickname meant you could be kicked around (my
take on the post.) Not at all. In fact, I've used your bughunter product
and was/ are still very impressed with its progress.

    2. I have a program that can set files up for pending delete on reboot, its
just a damn shame the CD rom drive wasn't working so I could install and use
it. Mind you, I had no spare parts to work with either (try a different
drive) basically, I and my neighbor were ****ed.

And you have again illuminated the problem: you do not take
responsibility for your own bad acts.

I find it amusing that while you were accusing me of sharing your
emails--which I never did, not with anyone--you were sharing mine.

OTOH, I did share some impressions of you based on my initial take of
your personality. I think, however, that you would not be heartened to

Then... I don't understand why you want to participate in a flame

And why try to convince anyone I've got a surprise coming? If your

    You have confused me...

You have a program to do it? You can set the key yourself, you nor
    your neighbor was ****ed.
regedit still works in safe mode...

Anyways, I was a bit out of line by starting this technical thread...
I know what your skillset is, and it's not fair of me to talk over
    your head.

I did this only to prove a small point... flaming doesn't mean

Rhonda, I already provided things for 4Q to checkout, the beam awards
and such. While I do not consider myself to be a genius, I do, despite
what you think, have a high IQ... It's in the 160-180 range last time
    I was tested, hon.

Your cheap crack at my intelligence does nothing to sway from the
point. Your friend with 2 decades experience can't hold a candle to
    me. Spin that.

    Did you miss it hon?

Now, do you want to pass yourself off as someone who's being serious
or just trying to troll? I offer a resolution, do you take it or show
the public that your a troll as I've always said?

Are you slow? I've made it piss easy for you. I've offered to discuss
what it would take to stop the flaming.. Do you want the flaming to
stop Rhonda, or are you the troll I always said you were?

Are you (a) a troll (as I've maintained you are) or (b) going to
answer the following two very simple questions:

How can you and I resolve our differences then Rhonda?
In all seriousness, what will it take for you and I to part ways
