    1. I have never had one

    2. Dont know if it would but I dont get sick without it so I dont see the value in it.

Both work and my Health Insurance will give me free ones and work makes me a higher risk person due to my work. Didnt get sick any other year so I dont see this one as being a problem.

Honestly I think a little exposure and letting your own imune system battle it is the best way to stay healthy, babying it is only going to cripple your system and increases the chance that you will get sick in the future. I get sick very little and dont honestly try very hard to avoid germs and the like. Though I wouldnt put myself in harms way to catch something, at the same time ensureing that my body is exposed and therefore capable of battling things itself is not only better for me it actually saves me money on lost income ( I dont get night differential for sick days) and expense of medicine.

If I'm going abroad, I might consider vaccinations like they recoomend other people doing that travel "you have to take 1900 dollars worth of vaccinations before you can go to certain places. I don't really understand, they want you to pump yourself full of stuff that normally would kill you, in 18 or 19 varrieties all at once??? just so you can go to another place. I can't help but think of it like, with all those viruses they inject you with, you'd think that you become the carrier of these viruses in your home town where they don't have the same viruses these other places have that you are prepairing for.. What if you come into contact with someone that is not imune to the vaccine you carry in your own area?

    I like how you think.

I don't mind playing in dirty stuff, but I won't take unnecessary risks, like cleaning a public bathroom without gloves,= stupid. I figure those vaccines they make are "pure" bug's that are like throwing a wingless fly into a spiderweb? created to live in people but not thrive. I get sick like once or twice a year not related to my sinus/alergies n know when my head starts hurting it's not my allergies, time to sleep it off.. But I won't hesitate to get a snake bite or black widow bite vaccine "after the fact" you know. The pre-emtive disease exposure thing seams like you could take care of that by going to regular school parent meetings and touch a few desktops and get the right vaccine :P

ask more questions before you get it, one of my relatives nearly died after getting a flu shot.. it may be just a coincidence but she said that she wasn't sick before getting a shot, n a day after the shot she got a sore neck and called her doctor to get checked out for the reaction to the flu shot except she didn't wake up the day before her doctors apointment. She was unconsious, not breathing, no pulse etc when they found her, they put her on a heart/lung machine, and did some stuff. Everyone thought she was dead and comatose, and the doctor's said there was no brain activity so they said she was braindead and were expecting to stop the machines anytime. We were getting calls about her death, then someone called the hospital and talked to her on the phone!!!! Amazingly she woke up and is recovering, somehow the flu shot and sickness after the flu shot triggered accute pancreatitis, which caused her to have extreamly low blood oxygen levels..
