Never had one and don't plan to either. I can't think of anyone in my immediate family that has ever had one. I do get sick on rare occasions, but usually only once every year of so and it generally only lasts about 24-36hrs, so I just never felt the need to bother with such a thing. Kids bring colds home from school every once in awhile, but I just feel like it's better for them to fight it off on their own rather than get help from a flu vaccine. I have a friend that gets them every year and he always seems to be sick. I think his immune system is just not as active as most people's so maybe it's a good idea for him, but I just can't help wondering if maybe the vaccine weakens his bodies ability to respond to flu viruses that are not in the vaccine.
The CDC is only able to put a few of the flu viruses in the vaccine and it is not uncommon for them to guess wrong.
