Unknown or unawailible monitoring software, spyware or their anties...

    Good time-of-the-day 2all!

My concern is of such kind: I've been reading all-through the web bout
the monitoring software which different government organisations use
to monitor and log PC users activity in the web or else. I've found
many articles on that subject, but none of then contains names of
really existing software. I don't mean progs that anyone can download
or buy. I mean those that r 4 restricted access. I foung some names
here http://anti-keyloggers.com/monitoring_products.html , but all of
them are prety old and already exposed to public.

What i'd like 2 ask - some info or links on this subject.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Sincerely,
    SadBoy

There is nothing you can do to stop the ISP or their agents from
monitoring your internet connection or where it's going. Stop worrying
about it. If you are not doing something illegal or unethical then you've
    got nothing to worry about.

Once the date leaves your network you will have little control of what is
done with it. While you could use proxies, etc... the connections can
still tell a lot about you, and the open proxy you are using might be
owned by one of those people you don't want to know what you are doing.

This is not a "chat room", it is a news group so please type in full English.
Please don't use sentences such as... "It's like u always want 2 know what u r dealing with"

While the information is NOT classified it is considered "DoJ sensitive" information so in a
Public New Group all I will say is the FBI will use such an application as "Carnivore" at
    the ISP.

    You could try this
    http://www.google.com/search?q=gover...software&hl=en

The problem, as has already been stated, is that your communication
can be monitored remotely, without any spyware being installed on your
computer what-so-ever. Whenever you get a government involved in
wanting to know what you are doing on the internet, there is no way
you can hide (assuming you pass through network equipment that "the
government" has access to, that is.) You can encrypt your data, but
they will still know where you're going and what protocols you are
using - they may even be able to decrypt the data. There are also many
many programs that have never been classified by ANY anti-malware
vendor, so identifying these types of spyware must be done on your
own. If you think you have spyware, then you could try analyzing the
communication being sent/recived from your internet interface(s).
That should give you some indication of what programs are
communicating and what IP addresses they are communicating with. I
like Ethereal/WireShark for this type of recon.
