Opera 9.10 here as well ...
1) Tools -> Preferences ...
2) Advanced Tab -> Content -> Style Options... Button
3) Style Options -> Display Tab -> Uncheck Enable inline frames
It usually takes me a while to find any of the Opera preferences as
well. And sometimes the developers change the Preferences applet from
time to time.
One of the big advantages of about:config in the Gecko/Mozilla apps.
No matter what bone-headed decisions the developers come up with for
the GUI, you can almost always take care of the settings with
about:config and user.js.
