Can windows live popups be shut off?

Is there any way to disable the Windows Live Popups that occur on some web
pages. They generally come up when you pass your mouse cursor over a double
    underlinded piece of text.

I was surprised that they came up while using Opera and Firefox.

Checking the info box tells me that it is:

    IntelliTXT In-Text Advertising

Is there any way of disabling this crap?

Get rid of iFrames. Many clowns use them to get around popup-blocking
and other privacy measures. And disabling Javascript and cookies goes
    without saying.

They are easy to block in Opera, a little more work in the Mozilla
    browsers.

Frames suck in any form. [g]

The option to turn them off in Opera is not present in version 9.10 or at
    least it isn't in mine.

Opera 9.10 here as well ...

    1) Tools -> Preferences ...

    2) Advanced Tab -> Content -> Style Options... Button

    3) Style Options -> Display Tab -> Uncheck Enable inline frames

It usually takes me a while to find any of the Opera preferences as
well. And sometimes the developers change the Preferences applet from
    time to time.

One of the big advantages of about:config in the Gecko/Mozilla apps.
No matter what bone-headed decisions the developers come up with for
the GUI, you can almost always take care of the settings with
    about:config and user.js.

Thanks, I use Opera because it is easiest for people with low vision, at
least it is easiest for this person with low vision.
