While I'm no fan of the windows firewall, Seems to me that ZA shouldn't
be *ABLE* to turn it off. You should have to use your admin account to
do that manually.

I'd suggest some trials to see what's working in your situation. It is
easily possible (likely in my opinion) that two firewalls could conflict
with each other.

I'm not inclined to trust ZA either, I've seen occasions of *IT* phoning
home even though it was set to NOT do any automatic updates.

My choice is Sygate Personal firewall, version 5.5 build 2525, because
it's got plenty of features and advanced rule based control and it's the
last version before symantec bought 'em out.
