Mine is topped out at 2GB, I think I will stay with XP until I get another lappy.

I wasn't talking about a lappy...but actually my desktop...and I was thinking about a new lappy here soon...my old one is SO toast...

My home desktop couldn't handle it, my work desktop might.

I dont plan on upgrading until its a replacement. and the way it looks now, I will just make the kids buy laptops if htey wanttheir own computers.

All my home computers have been from upgrades. get enough to build a box and upgrade from tehre..

the next time I upgrade it's only gonna be mobo and CPU...I'll do SATA drives some day...but for now i can live with IDE...
