So, you work for a company and another one provides network access -
that's just like most of us. We work at one location and have our home
computer at another location. Additionally, it doesn't matter who provides
your "Net access" all that matters is who controls the two computers (the
remote computer and the local computer).

If the company you work for provides for remote connection permission then
you get it, if not then you don't.

So, present the issue to your Boss and tell him that it's impacting
your/their customers, most times they will find a way to support their
customers.
