I decided to try that Spyerase crapware because someone recommended it on
this board. Man am I ever sorry I trusted that prick who said it was safe.
I've just spent five hours rebuilding my computer and I'm fit to be tied.
This is a WARNING to anyone reading this group to STAY AWAY FROM SPYERASE
it's malware!

Was there no option to restore from a quarantine? PCButts repeatedly
claims it backs up all files - obviously it does not
Did it produce a log of what it removed? Can you post that here?

i examin batch file and it does not rename file that be removed and it
fail to create archive or qurtine files it removes.

Ethical people don't have a reason to fake posts and that would mean
that David didn't fake it, and I did reply, and I'll change my headers
so you can see this one butts.
None of us have any reason to make fake posts, you do enough of that on
your own, and we're all ethical and have no reason to fake posts - your
hurt your own position and case every time you post.

Your script doesn't do necessary checks to ensure the files it's deleting
(it does not backup anything, and does not leave a logfile for review
later either.. It creates temp files, which if you preserved them and
compiled them together you might sort of have a log.) are actually
malware or legit executables wrongly targetted for deletion.

David Lipman is a well respected associate, I have known him for a very
long time, and he has never been accused of forgery for as long as i've

svchost.exe is targeted by Spyerase and it will be removed but not the legit
version. If you really even looked at it you would know this. You would also
know that it does make a log file. You see that, you are WRONG again. Stop
