Just to add to Gary's comments, Heidi, if you combine security apps,
make sure that they play nice together (no conflicts). IIRC, some
versions of SpySweeper (real-time enabled) caused problems with KAV 6.
I believe, though, that these issues have been resolved with the

The firewall is another issue. There are a few that just won't work
with KAV. Before you buy a license for KAV, evaluate it (I suggest
that you evaluate KIS) free for 30 days.
