Making Slimbrowser the default browser

Go to View, Toolbars, Customize. You can set up the New Tab button there. Also go to Help, Using Mozilla Firefox, Navigating Webpages, Tabbed Browsing to learn how to use the Tabbed Browsing.

slimbrowser is INternet Explorer, just with a different look

No, slimbrowser is NOT Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is the standard browser created by Microsoft and included with Windows. Slimbrowser is a browser created by Flashpeak which is compatible with IE and most, but not all IE plug-ins. You must however, have Internet Explorer installed on the computer for Slimbrowser to work, but it is NOT Internet Explorer.

Either I was told or I misunderstood what slimbrowser was. I thought it was IE.
I should still be able to take my favorites from my IE, which are the same as mine in slimbrowser and transfer them to FF, shouldn't I?
So after looking over all my posts, do you see a reason for the slowdown or should I call in a tech or the cable company?
You guys have been TERRIFIC in helping me and I really appreciate it.

You can easily transfer your favorites from IE to Firefox. You go to File, Import and follow the prompts.
Off hand, I see no reason for the slow downs but will have to go through the logs again, attend a meeting too and get back to you later on THAT post which I promise to do later this evening. Go back there and see what PP has posted there and follow his instructions if you have not all ready done so.
