All messages I am receiving in Outlook Express 6 are showing the paperclip indicating an attachment, when there are none. Anyone familiar wirth this problem?

It is possible that OE is blocking attachments. You can verify by the following:

Tools >> Options >> Security Tab

Make sure "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" isn't checked.

What are you using as an Anti-virus program?

And if you double-click on the message, and open it in it's own window can you see the attachment?

If you use the setting 'Read All
    Messages in Plain Text'
    - (checked under Tools; Options; Read tab), any
HTML content will show a 'paperclip', *as if* an attachment were
present. It would happen if the mail used a particular font, smiley faces, or stationery.
