Naughty, naughty!
As it happens, mine is up for renewal, too, on all of my systems, so I
need to buy a three-pack.
On a friends computer, I had loaded NAV. When there was a problem, I
uninstalled it, ran CClean, followed by MS regclean, followed by
RegCleaner. When I was done, I reinstalled it, and the timer/counter was
reset.
I've been stymied in the past while doing an NAV upgrade, when the new
NAV thinks the old one is still there.
There must be some innocuous entry somewhere. I think SysInternals has a
tool that will track registry access, but I'm not sure.
