Some advice pleae. Anyone using ZA Internet Suite?

I'm trying to reduce the amount of system resources utilized with Symantec
AV 9.0 Corp & ZA Pro on my laptop. We all know how much a system resource
hog Symantic AV is. I've just kept using it as the company continues to pay
the license fee for the annual subscriptions.

My subscription to ZA Pro is about to expire and I'm going to renew it, but
was thinking of upgrading to ZA internet suite instead, and uninstalling
Symantec to free us some RAM.

Before doing so, I'd like to hear from anyone who has used Symantec AV
Corp., and has changed over to ZA internet suite to see if they were able to
    recover more system resources.

    TIA, Bob

PS: Before anyone asks, I also use Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D & Spyware Blaster.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have closed down all unnecessary start up
    programs, but not through Spybot.

The original question I posted though was directed to folks using ZA IS, and
whether they noticed any signicant savings in system resources.

Get rid of both. Use mozilla firefox and thunderbird.

Grab some add-ons after you migrate.

Thanks for all the replies. Too bad no one piped in who uses ZAIS. Since I
still have the installation disk for Symantec AV 9.0, I decided to check out
ZA IS, and uninstall Symantic AV. After doing a defrag (I always do a defrag
after an uninstall or a new installation), I found that my system is faster,
and uses less system resources with ZAIS. Only thing detrimental with ZA's
AV, is the scanning, as it takes forever on the first scan, not like that's
a big thing when it's scheduled for the middle of the night when I'm not
    using the computer.

I've been happy with Symantec AV in the past, but for yours truly, it was a
system hog, and I'm going to stick with ZA IS till I find it's hogging
    resources.
