    - Cureit - is the BEST free on demand virus scanner and remover.
    - I Don't Cur about AV.Comparatives. I will tell you my personal
    experience with Dr.Web:

    - Dr.Web is very low in resources - perfect for laptops and not only
    http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/5692/drwebreskb9.png
    - Dr.web is MADE IN RUSSIA just like KASPERSKY
    - Dr.Web it's certified by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian
    Federation
    - Protects against spyware/adware/riskware/hacker tools/paid dialers
    - Very frequent updates of virus databases - up to several times per
    hour.
    - Very good detection rates

And a 50% discount if you migrate to Dr.Web, what do you need more????

You really have wonder about a program that bases 40% of its
"benefits" as "Being from Russia". I think I'll pass, thanks.

I found the word used not at all on the home page, a couple of times on
another. And, hell -- it's a country that turned out quite a lot of
excellent programmers. Remember "Tetris" in 1989? And, as has been
already posted earlier, the Kaspirsky antivirus has garnered quite a
    respectable reputation.

You really have to wonder about a guy who misreads a web site and places
all his evaluation on one irrelevant fact that he blows up out of all
    proportion.

Reminds me of the commie scares of yesteryear. "Be afraid. Be very
    afraid." Boooo.
