Disable SpyBot Resident's alert popups... possible?

I have SpyBot & its auxiliary app Resident (which monitors web browsing
    installed) running on XP.

Every time an ad network (DoubleClick, Avenue A, etc.) is called, I get
an alert that SpyBot has blocked the download of such (I assume these
are cookies it's preventing). I think it's great that such networks
are being blocked, but for the life of me can't figure out how to
disable the alerts. They're arguably more annoying than the ad
    networks that Resident is disabling.

It's incomprehensible to me that you can't disable these alerts - but
figured I'd toss this question out there - any ways to disable?
Otherwise I guess I'll just disable Resident altogether.

    Thx

Use your modern browser to block the cookies, and your HOSTS file to
block the ads they serve. See "Browsers" and "HOSTS File" on this page:

Might as well, when your existing tools will do the same job.
