Thank you Ron, and it's my pleasure!
I'll go ahead and add the a2 and Ewido/AVG links as well.

I'm all for adding SAS to the FAQ, as well as Ron's suggestions.

You might also add Comodo's freeware

    http://www.comodogroup.com/products/free_products.html

I don't personally use their products but have heard good things about
    them.

    Shplink:

Here's something else to add. It is a free tool but is not a anti malware scanner or
FireWall application. It is something completely different. It's a vulnerability
assessment tool from Secunia. Secunia is a well known an authorative source of
vulnerability and exploitation information. If you read the Microsoft HotFix documentation
hyou will often see Secunia quoted as a reference.

Using the below web page, a Java Applet is launched taht will examine the system's OS and
installed applications for vulnerable versiosn of utilities, applications or singular files.

    http://secunia.com/software_inspector

In a corporate envronment we use software such Digital eEye's Retina and Harris Stat to
perform an Information Assurance Vulnerability Assesment. The Secunia Software Inspector is
a simple and effective tool for the home user.
