I agree Gizmo...I have used it for several years. One thing I like about it is that it is so easy to go back in and re-enable something with it. It is also nice because "some" things insist on putting themselves back in Start if you use it...AIM, Quicktime are two of them. But with the Startup CPL all you have to do is if you use one of those and don't want the auto-start you just go back in and remove it via the Startup CPL. Now I will tell you this, with those two programs especially, they will just ad another instance of themselves in Start up not just place the checkmark. So if you go in and remove the checkmark of the new one you may get a message that you already have a disabled entry for the program and you must delete one before removing the checkmark. Just right Click the extra entry and delete without problems. I always check Startup CPL after installing a new program. If it is not necessary for the running of the computer and it shows up in Startup I just remove the checkmark from there....Startup CPL. That's an AWESOME utility.
I also agree with your fiancee on the Grey's Anatomy music, LOVE IT. But the iPod program must be difficult. I don't have an iPod but my granddaughter got her's for Christmas last year. The Grey's music was one thing she had trouble with downloading for it. My daughter, her mom, works for an ad agency and she had to have their computer tech do it for them. Now there is some way he downloads it and then my daughter takes it home and puts it on her daughter's iPod because they couldn't do it on their home computer. Haven't a clue how they do it but I will ask her about it, maybe she can give me a hint on how it is done. She said that was the only downloads they have had trouble with for the iPod.
