Judy,
Thanks for the info!!!
ati2evxx.exe - Doesn't ever use tons of CPU. I am going to disable it though if it is taking a lot of time on startup, because that's where my issue resides. DISABLED
Sometimes I'll have to startup...then log off and log back on in order for all of my programs to load correctly (read: show up in the taskbar).
brmfcwnd.exe - Hasn't had any impact on my startup, and I don't even have the prgram loading in the tray, it just runs on startup and the "disappears."
cli.exe - I have always wanted to know how to disable this. It runs THREE instances and it bugs me. So I think I'll disable it, as I almost never use the command center for ATI. DISABLED
daemon.exe - This is fine. I love daemon-tools and that hasn't ever given me problems either.
directcd.exe - This also hasn't given me issues. I know how to turn it off, but it doesn't slow down my sytem at all. But I unchecked it in the properties for all of my CD drives. DISABLED
inetinfo.exe - This one is a must keep. I use RD on a daily basis. So this one I will leave.
iPodService.exe - I installed iTunes yesterday so I could download Grey's Anatomy for the fiancee. Well it didn't work and it's coming off, so this will be disappearing. UNINSTALLED
jusched.exe - This is useless from what I can tell. JAVA is very bad about notifying for updates. So I will also turn this off. DISABLED
mdm.exe - I will eventually get back in to my Visual Basic programming, and this is for Visual Studio.NET so I will keep this also.
soundman.exe - I am killing this one also. I don't use it and I know where the shortcut is for it if I need it. DISABLED
And EndItAll was only running so I could show you exactly what was running. I don't have it to run on startup, but it is a very useful program so it is in my arsenal.
Unless otherwise noted, I have disabled these programs through Startup CPL. That's an AWESOME utility.
Thanks Judy!!
And anybody else who wants to chime in feel free.
PS - Cauzomb, thank you for your help earlier on GAIM. I left my FD at work so I don't have any of that information right now. But we will see what this does for me.
