I have heard about that one before, but I look all around their
web site: http://www.kaspersky.com/, and the best I can find is
labeled "free trial," which doesn't sound like free ware to me.

It has to be free ware, or I do not list it, as you can see.

I only list links to programs that are completely free of
charge, or include free ware versions, like the link to "AVG," and
"superantispyware," which programs come in more than one version,
including free ware, but also including options to download trial
ware, or to purchase commercial ware versions. That's fine, but
if they ever stop including the free ware version of their fine
programs, then that link will get deleted off the list.

"AOL" is notorious for ad ware and such, and they are a third
party. I would never include any links to "AOL," not under any
circumstances, not even if the most trusted experts on the subject
say that it's ok. I do not trust "AOL."

I have yet to read anything from AVS users that it is ad- or
spam-ware. Just don't install the AOL Security Toolbar and use a
disposable email address to be on the safe side.

The "AOHell" part says it all. I wouldn't touch anything they
have touched with a ten foot cattle prod.

Yet you use MS products, specifically Outhouse Express? ;-)

I can see where you might get that impression by the "fluff"
in the headers of my previous message.

In case you missed it, I did state that I use all the programs
listed in my short list, except for "avast!":

Free anti virus AVG (version 7.5):

Free anti virus avast! (home edition version 4.6)

Look at the header of this message. It says I am using
the same version of "Agent" that you are using to post. I also
added a couple more meaningless headers just for fun.

I use anonymous remailers to post. The templates I use vary,
and sometimes I inadvertently pick a template that has leftover
"fluff" in the headers, which doesn't interfere with messages
    getting through.

I don't use Outlook, but I do use IE7 for a browser, with XP
on all three of my computers. Everything is working fine.
